Basic Chat Rules

1. Be Respectful:Please respect others' opinions about various topics. It may come to your attention that someone may not be as high up in the Lord as you are. Also, others may not believe or may not be able to recieve what you are preaching or witnessing to them. That's ok, just keep in mind that its your job to plant the seed & God will then send another to water that seed. God will be the one to see that seed grow in that person. Please don't conduct bad language & don't be judgemental for we have no heaven or hell to place others in. Who ever is without SIN shall cast the first stone.
   
   
2. Always Be Safe: No matter what, never give out any information that can lead others to you. These should include; home addresses, credit card info, phone number, etc.... Even though we are of a christian environment, the enemy still has his way of deceiving others. We don't tolerate stalkers or harrassers here.
   
   
3. All are Welcome: To top things off, we are not responsible for other's actions. We will be monitoring the chat server as close as possible. If you have any concerns please let one of the administrators know. Believers & Non-believers are being brought together to minister & fellowship with other christians. C.O.P.P.A. LAW

1. Children Under 13: Ages 13 & above ONLY are allowed to chat here. If anyone is below the age of 13, they must have parental consent. I ask that the parents send me a written confirmation with parent signature via mail which states they give permission to allow their child to chat on United Praise Chat Server. Please email me for mailing details. The child will remain banned from United Praise Chat Server until further notice from their parents. However, we ask that a parent or guardian monitor the child while chatting and check the logs from & to that child. We support & enforce the C.O.P.P.A. LAW 100% which simply states;
   
   The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act and Rule apply to individually identifiable information about a child that is collected online, such as full name, home address, email address, telephone number or any other information that would allow someone to identify or contact the child. The Act and Rule also cover other types of information -- for example, hobbies, interests and information collected through cookies or other types of tracking mechanisms -- when they are tied to individually identifiable information.

Operators

1. Restrictions: First off while in chat there will be;
   
   *NO Cussing
   
   *NO Flooding any channels
   
   *NO Advertising without our permission
   
   *NO begging for Op
   
   *NO Warez or illegal scripts
   
   *NO sending files without the other person's permission. However, any other files such as; (viruses, porn, or any other effective files) are NOT PERMITTED
   
   *NO cybering (this is not a pickup joint. This chat server is to serve God & be used for His Glory to win souls to Christ)
   
   *NO cloning without our permission
   
   *NO proxies
   
   *NO changing any of the room settings unless you are authorized to do so
   
   
   Finally, Operators are here to monitor the chat server & make sure everyone is having a good & safe time, while chatting. They are also here for support & help. If anyone has to report any type of abuse or harrassment, please contact one of our staff members. Operators will warn you before they take necessary actions.
   



2. Termination Penalties: ***Failure to abide by these rules could result in suspension of chatting privileges. The Administrative Staff reserve the right to inhibit any connection to this server for any reason.***



Staff


1. Recruits: When recruiting admins, ircops or mods, all current staff members are to thoroughly come together in prayer regarding that chatter. We will decide as a team with God's aproval & assistance. If the staff is not in all agreeance & not equally yoked, then that member will not be recruited.
   
   
2. Suspensions: Staff members who continuely break the rules of chat or have conducted themselves in a non-christian manner that is displeasing to others, after being warned on multiple occassions, will be suspended until further notice. The resigning staff members will further investigate the issue & will again decide to either give the suspended staff member a second chance or to permanently remove that member from staff. U.P. Staff is a very serious christian staff used to bring God glory. We want our staff members to be equiped with the full armor of God. We are to humble ourselves & walk in God's ways, setting a Christ like example for all chatters. Chatters from all over the world come to U.P. Chat Server seeking prayer, fellowship, support & much more from our staff members. Others take us seriously & depend on us for help & guidance.
